Citing your information
Citation tips:
Databases: You can copy and paste pre-formatted citations from databases. Here's how:
1. Scroll to the bottom of the article to find the citation or click "Cite" in the database tools at the top or right side of the page.
2. Copy the MLA citation.
3. In Noodletools, select "Database" and click "Create citation". Scroll down and click the type of source you located in the database (book, reference source, magazine, etc.). Not sure? Ask for help determining the type of source. Click the "Copy and paste citation" link at the top of the screen and paste the citation into the box marked with *. Click "Submit".
Books: You can import citation information using the book's ISBN #. Here's how:
1. Select "Book" from the Noodletools dropdown menu.
2. Look for the ISBN # on the back cover of the book (above the barcode).
3. Type the # into the box at the top of the book citation screen in Noodletools
