This is the resource you will use to create your "exhibit". It also contains encyclopedia articles, images (maps) and video clips.
You can export citations directly to NT.

CITING SOURCES
Create a project and share it with Mrs. Matjasic. Type "Carozza" and select appropriate period #.
You need to cite your 3 sources of information and your 5 images (8 total citations).
Citing images from databases: Images in library databases contain pre-formatted citations. You can follow the same directions above, however you will select "Photo or Image Born Digital" instead of "Original Content".
Citing images from websites: Select “Website" followed by "Photo or Image Born Digital". Fill in as many blanks as you can (the name of the site, the copyright date, the URL, a description of the image, etc.) Be sure to cite the webpage on which the image is found, not Google Images.
You need to cite your 3 sources of information and your 5 images (8 total citations).
- If you get information and an image from the same source, you need to cite them separately.
- The works cited is worth 20 points. Click here for the rubric.
- If working with a partner: One group member will create the project and share with Mrs. Matjasic. Other group members will be added via the Collaboration feature.

- Select File-Make a copy to edit the form
- Rename with your assigned tribe and period number. Ex: Celts 2
- If working with a partner, one group member makes a copy and shares it.
- When finished taking notes, you will upload this Notetaking Google Doc to the Discovery Ed board (directions below).
BOARD BUILDER
After researching your tribe, you will type questions on the board (in the form of text boxes) and record the answers using the Sound Recorder app on your computer. The answers will be uploaded as audio clips onto the board. Directions are below.
*Only 1 group member can edit the board at a time.
Log into Discovery Ed with the username and password you were given (it has the name of the tribe in it).
Scroll down and select "Board Builder".
*Note: Once you create a board, you will need to locate it in the MY BOARDS section.
In the Edit mode, use the Editor Tools on the left to add items (text, media)
To record and insert audio clips:
Search for Voice Recorder on your computer.
*Only 1 group member can edit the board at a time.

Press the microphone image when you are ready to start recording your answer. You can use your computer's built-in mic.
Press the Stop button when you are finished.
Right-click on the saved recording and click Rename. Name it "Question ___". The file will be saved in Documents - Sound Recordings.
On your Discovery Ed board, add additional media boxes as needed.
Click Upload within the media box. You may need to scroll down to see it.
Upload the file. You may need to change to "All files" instead of "Custom files" to locate the file.

To submit your project:
Click the Share button at the top of your board. Please note that you will not be able to edit your board after click the button.
