The best databases for this project are shown below.
- They contain critical analyses of Macbeth from various source types (books, journals)
- All databases contain tools (top or right side of page) to help you organize and cite.
- When saving links, locate the "persistent link" or "bookmark URL" for the article (usually at the bottom or right side of the page) instead of the "session" URL in the address bar.
You can access this database through Chester County Library (you'll need your library card #)
How to use Gale PowerSearch Enter your keywords into the search widget (above or on the databases page). Log in with the Gale password. After results appear, you will notice that academic journal results appear first, with additional articles broken down by Content Types (as shown in image to right). After you select an article, click "Citation Tools" in order to find the 8th edition citation that you can export into Noodletools. The permanent URL to the article is contained within the citation. |
Effective searching in EBSCO

Click "Cite" on the right-hand side for preformatted citations that you can paste into Noodletools. Directions for pasting citations into Noodletools are in the Schoology group. |
